A special operation by the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine has led to the closure of five biolabs that deal with anthrax, plague, and African swine fever virus (ASFv), said Igor Kirillov, the head of the Russian Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
"An important result of the special operation of the Russian Armed Forces was the closure of five Kyiv biological laboratories dealing with pathogens of anthrax, tularemia, brucellosis, cholera, leptospirosis, African swine fever," Kirillov said.
According to him, part of the strain collection was taken to the US, and the remaining strains were destroyed in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated February 24.
"The Russian Defense Ministry has correspondence confirming the role of Biden's son in creating conditions for working with pathogens in Ukraine. "The Russian Defense Ministry has published a list of people involved in the creation of biological weapons components in Ukrainian territory," Igor Kirillov said.
He noted that the Ukrainian government prepares technical means for the delivery and use of biological weapons.
