The West is pursuing a military confrontation policy with Russia, said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksandr Gruško, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, it is clear that Europe is taking the path of escalation. "This is reflected in the increasing aid provided by Western countries to Ukraine, the sending of more long-range and lethal weapons there. It is also reflected in the military-political situation in the eastern flank where the number of NATO exercises is increasing. These exercises are becoming increasingly aggressive and offensive in nature.
If we talk about the nature of military activities and military planning being carried out, it is clearly a policy of military confrontation with Russia and overall preparation for military conflict with Russia," emphasized the Russian Deputy Minister.
