Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak told the Rossiya 1 TV channel that it is unlikely for Europe to find a way to substitute Russian natural gas imports, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Novak, who was Russia's minister of energy from 2012 to 2020, said that anything is possible, but shared his projection that "there is definitely nothing to replace this in one year, or in three, or in five years," as European nations would have to make up for 60% of their gas by cutting off Russia.
