Representatives of the authorized bodies of the littoral countries have met in Ashgabat to discuss a draft agreement on the protection and sustainable use of biological resources of the Caspian Sea. APA reports that the littoral countries put forward their proposals on the pending questions. The proposals include the norms of the use of biological resources, sturgeon quotas and the coordination of national environmental programs.
This is the third meeting held on the level of experts.
