Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergei Naryshkin said that NATO will make efforts to make Ukraine for Russia like Afghanistan for the USSR, APA reports citing Mailbd.
He noted that the North Atlantic Alliance, together with their colleagues from America, are trying very hard to do this.
However, as Naryshkin said, everyone who is “at least a little familiar with history and geography” should understand that such a strategy will definitely fail, especially if geographical names and cities are confused in NATO and the European Union.
“However, is it worth expecting much from leaders who confuse Mariupol with Metropol and consider Voronezh and Rostov-on-Don to be Ukrainian cities?” Naryshkin laughed.
