NATO is actively preparing for war with Russia, said Sergei Naryshkin, director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
He accused the Northern Alliance of preparing for war with Russia.
“Undoubtedly, we see that NATO’s European allies are preparing for war with our country. To this end, NATO is tasked with ‘providing the alliance’s rapid response forces with all necessary weapons and resources as quickly as possible,’” Naryshkin said.
He added that Europe’s military-industrial complex “is being put into a mode of multifaceted production increase,” and the populations of European countries “are being systematically subjected to propaganda about Moscow’s allegedly inevitable attack.”
