Moscow views the statements by European officials regarding the threat posed by the “Iskander” missile systems deployed in Kaliningrad negatively, said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov while commenting on the remarks by “Airbus” chairman René Obermann about the necessity of deploying nuclear weapons on the border with Russia, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
The Kremlin representative emphasized that the region is an integral part of Russia and that all measures are taken solely to ensure national security.
