Searches in connection with the preparation of mass riots in Moldova
Today, law enforcement agencies conducted searches in several settlements in Moldova in connection with the preparation of mass riots and the disruption of stability, said the country’s Police General Inspectorate, APA reports, citing Moldova’s Newsmaker portal.
According to the information, the preparation for these mass riots was coordinated from Russia through the criminal underworld.

It was noted that law enforcement agencies conducted searches both in the homes of the related individuals and in several prisons.

According to the documents obtained by the agency, the strategy was prepared in the summer with the Kremlin’s approval, and the goal is to reduce the chances of President Maya Sandu’s “Action and Solidarity” party in the vote to be held on September 28.
As a result, the aim is to remove Sandu from power and bring pro-Russian forces to power.
Disinformation, protests, and methods of pressure on election commissions
The documents show that Russia is ready to apply multifaceted methods ranging from involving Moldovans living abroad in collecting votes to organizing protests and conducting large-scale disinformation campaigns on social networks.
It was noted that the Kremlin’s plans also include using kompromat to pressure officials and disrupting the work of election commissions. Additionally, the spread of false information is planned through "Telegram," "TikTok," "Facebook," and even call centers.
