Number of population, living in Armenia, continues to decrease, APA reports citing Armenia's Zhoghovurd newspaper.
According to information of the Statistics Committee of the country, the number of residents, living permanently in Armenia has made up 2 million 961 thousand as of January 1, 2022.
"The indicator was 2 million 963,3 thousand in the analogical period of 2021. Thus, number of residents, living permanently in Armenia, has decreased by 2.3 thousand over a year," writes the newspaper.
Zhoghovurd newspaper has noted that a decrease in number of population in the country has been a regular tendency.
