Magnitude 5 earthquake jolt Shirak and Lori provinces of Armenia, said the seismological network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia, APA reports.

The quake occurred at 23:35 local time in the village of Bavra, 13 km northeast of the Georgian-Armenian border.

The magnitude of the earthquake at the epicenter was 6 points.

The magnitude of the earthquake was 5 in Shirak and Lori regions, 3-4 in Tavush region, as well as 3 in Yerevan, Kotayk and Aragatsotn.
