The telephone conversation discussed the course of the special operation in Ukraine.
The President of Belarus expressed support for Moscow's activities.
"Vladimir Putin reported on the progress of a special military operation to defend the Donbas and assessed the ongoing talks between Russian and Ukrainian officials. Alexander Lukashenko reiterated his support for the activities of the Russian Federation. The leaders agreed on future contacts, "the Kremlin said in a statement.
