Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Turkey will try to help clear Ukrainian ports of mines, APA reports citing Teller Report.
He stated this following the meeting of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Persian Gulf.
“Following a conversation with President (Turkey Recep Tayyip) Erdogan, an agreement was reached that Turkish colleagues will try to help in organizing the demining of Ukrainian ports in order to free ships taken hostage, in fact, from there, with cargoes needed by developing countries,” he said. Lavrov.
He also stated the need to agree that this operation be carried out without any attempts to strengthen the military potential of Ukraine and cause damage to Russia.
