If “Tomahawk” cruise missiles fall into Ukraine’s hands, this will in no way affect the situation on the battlefield, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at the 22nd annual meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, the Kremlin has already clearly stated that even if “Tomahawk” missiles fall into Ukraine’s hands, this will not change the military situation.
Lavrov noted that the Americans do not give “Tomahawk” to everyone: “If I am not mistaken, they supply Spain and the Netherlands among the Europeans, but they are somewhat cautious with the others. If they (the Americans - ed.) believe that Ukraine is a responsible power that will use it responsibly, then that would be surprising to me.”
