Russia has not officially received U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan regarding Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
Lavrov stated that the U.S. plan on Ukraine has not been formally delivered to Moscow, but added that Russia is ready to discuss the specific provisions of the proposal.
The foreign minister emphasized that Trump’s plan was conveyed to Moscow only through unofficial channels.
Lavrov noted that Russia is waiting for the United States to present what it considers an interim version of the plan — one agreed with Europe and Ukraine.
According to him, Moscow possesses a 28-point version of Trump’s plan and is unaware of any other versions.
Lavrov also said that Russia values the U.S. position and its efforts to put forward initiatives aimed at resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
