The deployment of US and NATO military infrastructure in Central Asia is unacceptable. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, APA reports citing Russian media.
According to the minister, such actions are contrary to the security interests of the countries of the region. Also, the deployment of military infrastructure in Central Asia is contrary to the statutory documents of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
“As we have already stated, we consider unacceptable the deployment of any US and NATO military infrastructure or the Afghans serving them on the territory of neighboring states, primarily in Central Asia,” Lavrov said.
