On October 13, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held an annual meeting with the heads of diplomatic missions of the four Caspian littoral states in Moscow, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
The meeting was also attended by Grigory Karasin, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, and Leonid Kalashnikov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots.
Views were exchanged on a wide range of issues related to multilateral cooperation in the Caspian region and deepening mutual activities within the framework of the "five", including preparations for the summit and high-level meetings between the Caspian littoral states.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Rahman Mustafayev attended the meeting.
