“Ukraine presented a draft agreement with Russia yesterday, and this draft went beyond provisions determined in the meeting in Istanbul, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
According to him, previously Ukraine promised that security guarantees do not apply to Crimea, however, that article does not exist in the new version of the treaty.
Lavrov said that Ukraine proposed to discuss the issues of Crimea and Donbas at the meeting of the leaders of the two countries: “It is unacceptable. Despite provocations, Russia will put forward its own draft treaty and continue negotiations with Ukraine.”
