Today, the Russian army launched a drone attack on Kiev, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on his Telegram channel, APA reports.
According to preliminary information, a Russian drone crashed in the Solomensk district of the capital.
“No fire was reported. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene,” Klitschko said.
According to Ukrainian media, starting on the night of August 23, Russian forces launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine with kamikaze drones. The main strikes were carried out in the eastern and northern regions of the country. Of the 49 drones of various types launched into Ukrainian territory, 36 were shot down by air defense forces.
