The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service’s (SVR) report on Armenia’s alleged plans to reject Russian grain is not unfounded, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
Commenting on the SVR’s claims, Peskov emphasized that the agency’s information is never baseless. He added that Russia and Armenia have many questions regarding bilateral cooperation, noting: “The Kremlin hopes to continue bilateral cooperation with Yerevan.”
Earlier, the SVR reported that Armenia intended to reject Russian grain in favor of more expensive Ukrainian grain and suggested that Brussels cover the price difference using Russia’s frozen assets.
