Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has urged caution against drawing hasty conclusions about the conflict in Ukraine nearing an end, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
Peskov described statements suggesting that the situation in Ukraine is close to a peace agreement as premature.
He said he was certain that there would be many people in various countries, including the United States, who would attempt to disrupt the peace process.
The Russian president’s press secretary also linked the leaked phone conversations to attempts to undermine the negotiations and called on everyone not to exaggerate their significance.
