The Kremlin has responded to the proposal of Aleksey Arestovich, former advisor to the President of Ukraine, regarding the "transfer of four regions of Ukraine and Crimea to Russia without official recognition," APA's Moscow bureau reports.

Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the President of Russia, said that Arestovich's views do not reflect the official position of the Ukrainian authorities.

Emphasizing that they are working on specific issues, Peskov noted that there has been a serious pause in negotiations with Kyiv on these specific matters.

“This was not due to our fault,” the Kremlin spokesperson added.

It should be noted that in an interview with Russian journalist Ksenia Sobchak, Arestovich agreed with the idea of transferring four regions of Ukraine (Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts) and Crimea to Russia without official recognition.

Recall that Arestovich has left Ukraine.
