The Kremlin has responded to Donald Trump’s statement about Türkiye stopping the purchase of Russian oil, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Türkiye is a sovereign state that decides for itself in which areas it will cooperate with Russia.
“The TurkStream is operating at full capacity. The Blue Stream is operating at full capacity. We continue our trade and economic cooperation with the Republic of Türkiye. Türkiye is a sovereign state that decides for itself in which areas it will cooperate with Russia, and if certain types of trade are beneficial for Türkiye, it will continue to engage in them,” the Kremlin spokesman said.
