The Kremlin has refused to comment on U.S. President Donald Trump’s statements regarding certain progress in resolving the Ukraine conflict.
The Press Secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, left Trump’s statements without comment.
“I would leave this without comment, as we do not have any additional details on this matter,” the Kremlin spokesman emphasized.
Peskov also spoke about the postponed Budapest summit between Russia and the United States. He stated that at a certain stage, both sides will have a demand for this summit.
“We believe that at a certain stage, both sides will definitely require a summit. However, before this summit, very intensive and precise expert work must be carried out. Our American colleagues completely agree with us on this matter. You have probably heard the recent statement of Mr. Steven Witkoff,” the official representative of the Kremlin concluded.
