The negotiation process in Istanbul has been halted by Ukraine, said the Press Secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, Kyiv disrupted the Istanbul talks.
“The negotiations in Istanbul were not halted because of our fault or our will. Representatives of the Kyiv regime stopped the negotiation process. It is now clear that work continues on discussing possible approaches to a settlement, but this is no longer being conducted between Moscow and Kyiv.”
The Kremlin spokesman noted that the negotiations are mainly taking place between Ukraine and the United States.
