On the night of September 29, Russian air defense forces shot down four unmanned aerial vehicles in the areas of the cities of Voskresensk and Kolomna in the Moscow region, said the governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov, APA's Russian bureau reports.
According to him, a private house in Voskresensk burned down after a UAV attack, resulting in the death of a 76-year-old woman and her six-year-old grandson.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced that air defense systems had intercepted and destroyed 84 Ukrainian UAVs last night.
It was reported that the largest number of UAVs were shot down over the Bryansk and Belgorod regions - 24 and 21, respectively.
