Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov has talked about the normalization process of Türkiye and Syria, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
At a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavushoglu in Ankara, the Russian FM recalled that meetings were held at the level of defense ministers, heads of intelligence services, and deputy foreign ministers regarding the normalization of Turkish-Syrian relations.
Lavrov said that these meetings will continue: "As for the meeting at the level of Top Diplomatss, preparation for this meeting is necessary. This preparation is underway. The meeting held in Moscow at the level of the Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs was dedicated to this. Preparation also includes agreeing the time of the meeting."
