The chief architect of Gyumri municipality, Henrikh Gasparyan, and another person have been arrested on charges of taking a bribe, APA reports, citing press service of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
According to the information, a criminal case has been opened on the facts of bribery and abuse of power by officials of the Gyumri municipality. The chief architect is among the accused, and they have been charged with committing a crime in a group with prior conspiracy.
Recall that the mayor of Gyumri, Vardan Ghukasyan, has been arrested for 2 months. He was detained the other day on charges of taking a bribe of 10 thousand dollars.
