Russian forces continue to blow airstrikes on aerodromes in eastern Ukraine and north of Kyiv region, on Ukrainian armed forces, General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine has issued information in this regard on its Facebook account.
According to information, Russia has started to deploy reserve units in the territories on the border with Ukraine and continue to blow airstrikes on aerodromes in eastern Ukraine and north of Kyiv region, on Ukrainian armed forces. Sumy, Poltava, Mariupol regions have been hit by only airstrikes.
It has been noted that Russia has launched Caliber naval cruise missiles from the Black Sea into Ukraine: "Tactical operations of Russian aviation are managed from the territory of Belarus and temporarily occupied Crimea. Battalion-Tactical Groups of the 35th Combined Armed Armies of the Eastern Military District are placed in the Mazyr region, which is used to strike targets in Ukraine. Tens of tank units have been deployed in Shumski territory and numerous BM-21 Grad missile systems have been deployed in the Kosovshina region."
According to information from the General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian Army has blown aviation strikes on civil infrastructure in Yuzhne and Odesa, Kyiv:
"Operational group of Ukraine's armed forces in the direction of Slobozhanske has suspended attack of the enemy and defense fights are taking place in Kharkiv region. City battles are underway in Okhtyrka."
General Staff has noted that Ukrainian Air Forces have defeated Russian airstrikes and Russia's Il-76MD military transport aircraft has been destroyed:
"Russian manpower and military equipment have been destroyed in Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Kherson regions. United Forces conduct a defense operation and maintain their positions along the whole demarcation line," stressed in the information.
