Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) in the Ulyanovsk region has detained a suspect accused of plotting an assassination against television journalist Vladimir Solovyov, APA’s Russia bureau reports, citing local media.
According to the report, the suspect, a 1989-born resident of Dimitrovgrad in the Ulyanovsk region, allegedly planned to participate in the assassination plot against Vladimir Rudolfovich Solovyov on the orders of Ukrainian intelligence services from April 2024 to June 2025.
The detained individual faces up to 20 years in prison.
