Temporary restrictions have been imposed on the arrival and departure of aircraft at Moscow's Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Zhukovsky airports, the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) stated, APA reports.
According to the agency, the decision was made to ensure flight safety. No information has been provided on how long the restrictions will remain in place.
The restrictions were imposed amid reports of Ukrainian drone attacks in and around Moscow. Russian officials said air defense systems had shot down drones heading toward Moscow.
