"Russian air defense systems have shot down five Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the Donbas," said Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

"Russian air defense systems shot down five unmanned aerial vehicles in the air in the settlements of Novoselovka Vtoraya, Chervonoe, Novogradovka, Ilovaisk, and Khartsyzsk," he said.

Igor Konashenkov said that since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine, the Russian armed forces had destroyed more than 400 unmanned aerial vehicles, up to 1,900 tanks, and other armored vehicles: "In total, 125 planes, 93 helicopters, 413 unmanned aerial vehicles, 227 anti-aircraft missile systems, 1987 tanks, and other armored vehicles, 218 rocket launchers, 866 field artillery pieces, and mortars,1894 special purpose military vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been destroyed since the beginning of the special operation."
