Explosion at Russian facility leaves 10 people missing -UPDATED-1

An explosion at a facility in the city of Kopeysk, Russia's Chelyabinsk region, has left 10 people missing, the regional governor, Alexey Teksler, said on his Telegram channel, APA reports.

"The whereabouts of 10 more employees of the enterprise are being determined. The Ministry of Emergency Situations continues search and rescue operations at the scene," the statement said.

Authorities said that nine others were injured in the incident.
