Donald Trump Jr., son of U.S. President Donald Trump, has canceled his planned visit to Armenia, APA reports, citing Armenia’s Hraparak newspaper.
The visit was scheduled for November 12 in Yerevan. However, ahead of the trip, a broadcast by U.S. journalist Tucker Carlson drew widespread attention due to claims made during the program.
In the show, Narek Karapetyan, CEO of Tashir Capital, spoke about alleged attacks by the Armenian government on the Armenian Church.
According to Hraparak , following these developments, Trump Jr. decided to cancel both his meeting with the Armenian leadership and the visit altogether.
