A conscript soldier opened fire on his fellow servicemen at a military unit in the Naro-Fominsk district of the Moscow region, APA reports, citing REN TV.
At least three people were injured as a result of the incident, two of whom could not be saved. Another soldier was taken to hospital with severe injuries.
One of the wounded managed to contact his mother and inform her about the shooting. The woman immediately called doctors and the police to the military unit.
The possible motives behind the incident have not been disclosed, and the information has not been officially confirmed.
