Concern from Poland Orlen terminates the last contract for the supply of Russian oil

Polish energy concern Orlen has terminated the last contract for the supply of Russian oil, APA reports citing Polsat TV channel.

“There were two contracts. These contracts no longer exist. We had a discussion about terminating the contract when the oil flow stopped following President Biden’s visit,” said Daniel Obaitek, the company’s president.

He added that the concern has already found the missing 10% of Russian oil volume from the total balance. Concern assures that this is the result of supply diversification carried out since 2015.

Dukovany NGS in Czech Republic formerly refused He will receive from Russia the use of nuclear fuel, and from 2024 from the American company Westinghouse.

The TV channel states that the contract is for 15 years. About 40 years ago, the Dukovany nuclear power plant received nuclear fuel from the USSR, and then from Russia.
