During the night of Thursday, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding district for several hours, APA reports, citing RBC-Ukraine.
A dormitory was hit, with several floors completely destroyed.
Multiple fires erupted in residential areas, and infrastructure facilities were also affected.
By 06:20 AM Kyiv time, Governor Ivan Fedorov reported that the number of injured had risen to 11.
Among the wounded were six children, three girls and three boys, aged between 3 and 6 years old.
According to the Regional Military Administration, Russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia overnight with at least 20 drones and 8 missiles.
Several floors of a dormitory were destroyed, and one person may still be trapped under the rubble, according to preliminary reports.
Rescue operations are ongoing.
