The Azerbaijani side has confirmed the possibility of using Azerbaijani railways for the transit of Russian products from Azerbaijani territory to Armenia, said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk, APA 's Moscow correspondent reports.
According to him, Russian Railways (RJD) and its regional colleagues are currently working on organizing the transit of Russian goods through Azerbaijan to Armenia.
"The Azerbaijani side has confirmed the possibility of using Azerbaijani railways for the transit of Russian products through Azerbaijan to Armenia. In this regard, we have made very interesting progress. Russian Railways is currently working with its regional colleagues on the organization of these shipments. We have also given relevant instructions to the Ministry of Agriculture to prepare this new logistics route," Overchuk noted.
