War veterans in Armenia have blocked the main road to Zvartnots Airport, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.
They protested against the visit of Azerbaijani MPs Tahir Mirkishili and Soltan Mammadov to Armenia for the EURONEST Parliamentary Assembly meeting.
They also opposed the normalization of Turkish-Armenian relations and the opening of the Istanbul-Yerevan flight.
While the road was opened after the police intervention, the protesters said they would continue to hold rallies if their demands were not met.
