Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan has appraised the country's drastic steps regarding the membership in European Union (EU) negatively, the publication Hraparak wrote, APA reports.
According to the publication, a closed meeting was held regarding Armenia's application to the EU with the participation of "Civil Contract" MPs and the discussion took place yesterday in the country parliament.
Armen Grigoryan noted that the West has not stated its readiness to solve problems such as the closure of the "Upper Lars" checkpoint for the passage of trucks belonging to Armenian logistics companies and serious security threats that may arise for Armenia as a result of the diversification of foreign policy.
