Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has commented on the reports about the cancellation of U.S. President Donald Trump’s son’s visit to Yerevan, APA reports, citing Armenian media.

Pashinyan stated that they had never said anything about this.

“We have never announced such a thing. Whoever announced it should explain it,” the Armenian Prime Minister said at a briefing.

Note that about two weeks ago, reports were circulated that the son of U.S. President Donald Trump would visit Armenia on November 12. However, according to information published today by the “Hraparak” newspaper, Donald Trump Jr., son of Donald Trump, has canceled his planned visit to Armenia.

It was reported that, on the eve of the visit, a program aired in the U.S. by journalist Tucker Carlson and the allegations voiced in that broadcast caused a wide public reaction. In the program, the CEO of “Tashir Capital,” Narek Karapetyan, spoke about the Armenian government’s attacks against the Armenian Church.

According to “Hraparak,” following this information, Donald Trump Jr. decided to cancel both his meeting with the Armenian leadership and the visit altogether.
