Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expects the Armenian people to be in favor of peace in the parliamentary elections to be held in 2026, APA reports, citing Armenpress.
He said during the discussion of the draft law "On the State Budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2026" that 2026 will be a decisive year for peace, as the next parliamentary elections will be held in June.
"And there is a main question in these elections that must be answered. The Armenian people must be in favor of peace by their own choice. This is the main political meaning and goal of the upcoming elections," Pashinyan said.
