The State-Legal Affairs Committee of the Armenian Parliament has given a negative opinion on the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister submitted by the opposition faction “I Have Honor,” APA reports, citing Newsarmenia.
According to the information, the no-confidence motion by the “I Have Honor” faction against Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that he failed to fulfill its government obligations, created a systemic crisis in all areas of governance, and became a source of new challenges for the country. The reasons cited included the loss of Karabakh, failure of the national security strategy, increase in corruption, economic decline, humanitarian crisis, and deterioration of relations with allies. The faction’s proposal is to create a transitional national unity government to stabilize the situation, restore democracy, and hold free elections.
