A new partnership program with the European Union will be signed within a maximum of three months, said Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in an interview with “Deutsche Welle,” APA reports.
According to Ararat Mirzoyan, the implementation of a visa-free regime with the European Union could take between one and two years, while the new partnership program with the EU will be signed within a maximum of three months.
The diplomat acknowledged that despite steps taken towards the EU, Russia still remains one of Armenia’s main partners: “Armenia can apply for EU membership next month or next year, but Russia is one of our key partners.”
