Yerevan continues to actively discuss the issue of unblocking communications with the Iranian side in light of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's recent statements, APA reports citing Armenian media, APA reports.
Following yesterday's telephone conversation between the secretaries of the Security Councils of the two countries, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mger Grigoryan and Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Subhani discussed the opening of communications in the region at today's meeting.
Note that the previous day, Secretary of the Armenian Security Council Armen Grigoryan had a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Ahmadian. Ali Akbar Ahmadian once again supported Armenia's position on the opening of communications in the region.
Recall that Nikol Pashinyan did not rule out the issue of the US leasing the Zangezur corridor at a press conference.
