The greatest number of children affected by the war was recorded in the Kyiv region - 69, the Kharkiv region - 49, the Donetsk region - 54, the Chernihiv region - 39, the Mykolaiv region - 30, the Luhansk region - 28, the Zaporizhia region - 22, the Kherson region - 25, the Ukrainian capital - 16, the Sumy region - 16, the Zhytomyr region - 15.
Russian bombing and shelling damaged 790 educational institutions. Seventy-five of them were completely destroyed. The situation is the worst in the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Kherson, Chernihiv regions, and the city of Kyiv.
