Book â€œMuslim life in Americaâ€ presented

US ambassador to Azerbaijan Ann Derse stated that the book covers religious themes and it was translated to Azerbaijani and published.
Diplomat stated that millions of Muslims live in US, 1200 mosques function in various regions of the country, Muslims have their own schools, community centers and they actively participate in the country life. There are doctors, lawyers, servicemen, businessmen, tradesmen among them.
Ambassador said that publication of the book aims to give through information about the life of Muslims in U.S. The book will be distributed to schools and libraries of Azerbaijan.
Diplomat also read US President George Bushâ€™s congratulation on Ramadan holiday to world Muslims.
Following this, scientist Nariman Gasimoglu spoke about the investigations he carried out in U.S.
Gasimoglu said that religious feelings are respected in these countries in state level, high religious tolerance exists and Islam develops in this country. /APA/
