Turkish athlete who won award in Yerevan: I think we represent both countries very well

"I think we represented both countries very well in the competition in Armenia," said Turkish athlete Yusuf Gench who won an award in the European Championship held in Yerevan, APA reports.

"I blame the other side for the unpleasant incident that happened there. I don't even want to mention their names. I think we represented both countries very well in this competition. Even now, I have the Azerbaijani flag in my hand. May our unity and equality be permanent. Thank you for such a wonderful welcome ceremony," he said.
