U.S. President Donald Trump said Iran wants to reach a deal with Washington, Trump stated in an interview, APA reports.
According to him, Tehran does not want to be subjected to new strikes.
"They want to make a deal. Look, it's obvious they don't want to get hit. They want a deal. We'll see what happens," the U.S. President said.
It should be noted that Trump made the remarks as negotiations between the United States and Iran over the Strait of Hormuz continue and reports have emerged about a possible agreement between the two sides.
