Pezeshkian says recently met with Supreme Leader Khamenei

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has met with the country’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, APA’s Tehran bureau reports.

Masoud Pezeshkian touched upon this issue during a meeting with officials of Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.

He stated that his meeting with Iran’s Supreme Leader was held in a sincere atmosphere and in an environment of mutual respect.

“I recently held a meeting with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei. The meeting took place in a sincere atmosphere and the discussions lasted for about two and a half hours,” the Iranian president said.

According to the Iranian president, “the main goal of the enemies was to create public dissatisfaction, bring people into the streets, weaken the governance structure, and ultimately divide the country.”

“However, the Iranian people, together with the army, law enforcement agencies, and security forces, managed the situation in the best possible way and did not allow these scenarios to materialize,” he added.
