“The call made by the founding leadership of the PKK on February 27, 2025, was answered in Syria 337 days later, and this was a very important milestone,” Devlet Bahçeli, chairman of Türkiye's Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), said at his party’s parliamentary group meeting, APA reports, citing NTV.
“Let’s be honest with ourselves. Did the founding leadership of the PKK fulfill all its promises? Yes, they did. Did they ensure the liquidation of the separatist terrorist organization? Yes, they did,” Bahçeli stressed.
He also spoke about Selahattin Demirtaş, who is in prison in Edirne: “Our decision is clear until Öcalan returns to hope and Demirtaş returns home.”
